The MA-1 bomber (also known as the MA-1 flight jacket) is an American military jacket developed in the 1950s. The MA-1 and its predecessor, the B-15, were originally developed for the comfort of pilots flying new jet aircraft.

Nylon, invented during World War II and used for military parachutes, was only put into production for military clothing after the war.

The first MA-1 jackets were distributed to US Air Force and Navy pilots and flight crews. Small quantities were also released to Army aircrew. The design offers a comfortable fit, featuring two slanted pockets, two internal pockets, and one on the sleeve.

Also present are the original patches, the classic US Air Force patch, the TAC Patch of the main US Air Force command, and the patch for achieving 100 missions in North Vietnam.
