Interestingly, they firmly held to their previous products even while they advertised their famous hunting vintage jackets.

Redhead Vintage hunting Jacket America history
In 1908, the Vintage Redhead as a brand name was first pre-owned. The real founders were E.C Cook & his brother F.W. Cook located in Chicago. They produced tents, waterproof wagons, awnings, and flags.
Later expanded its range of products to accommodate hunter and tourist outfits such as jackets, rod cases, cartridge belts & vests, boots, and many more items.
In 1915, they had a major wreck in contract with the British Army that forced them into bankruptcy. A former employee S. Theodore Anderson took over the closed factory with his new company. Anderson died in 1931, succeeded by his wife Alma Anderson who took over Redhead. Alma died in 1956, and Clarke F. Hine took over Redhead. Brunswick Collender Co. of bowling ball fame bought Redhead in December 1959.
In 1970, RedHead Brand was sold and relocated to 4949 Joseph Hardin Dr. Dallas, Texas.
Today, Redhead is owned by Bass Pro shops, which market the brand as a “heritage brand” with no vintage style products sold.
